I don't know where the cepholopod obsession came from. I think it came from a long time ago, when a friend and I were watching a TV show on sea creatures. She declared that giant tube worms were her favorite animal, which I had really wanted to be MY favorite animal. While I was brooding about that, I saw the blue-ringed octopus. Aaaaand it was downhill from there...
