Neil looking cool with his mismatched swords. He stole the weapon and clothing idea from a wraith-hunter organization which is at large in the part of Pegasus he came from. They are bit of a legend in other parts of the galaxy too. Neil choose the weapons and the outfit in part because it is a fighting technique that relies heavily on balance and agility - something he inherently posses - and as a form of rebellion. Fighting with 'old traditional' weapons is a thing in his family.
