Shot about a month ago in southern Turkey: Gemile Koyu, MuΔlaIt is interesting how differently the Milky Way looks in different coordinates. MuΔla lies on about the same longitude as where i am in Finland just about 3000km south. There, Milky way shows on about the same direction with the same angle in the skies as in Finland, but the most colorful part of Milky Way on this photo stays under the horizon in Northern latitudes.

A breathtaking view! I really need to get out of the city more often, the abysmal (yet undeniably necessary) street lights overshadow the true gems of the night sky. Nevertheless, thank you for sharing this excellent photo of a view that remains unseen by the majority of us, urbanites.
