After years away from the team out of fear from harming another innocent person and a change in heart, Buttercup returns to Townsville with deep regrets about her past and is now an pacifist who will not hesitate to fight but hates herself for doing so. She hopes to make new friends who will share her views and accept her for who she is now and maybe help become a better person for future generations to look up to.
