Backstory:

Dhalimu was born to Queen Shuuja and King Aminifu of the first Royal Clan, Kifalme Clan. Treated as a princess by most of the clan, she often got away with things that others would not. Even as but a cub she was spoiled and babied by clan members, and as she was the firstborn she was to be the next in line to rule and lead the clan.

Dhalimu when she came of age, instead of killing her siblings as per Hyena tradition she bullied them into submission. Size was of no deterrence to her.

Her father proved to be the most loyal to her and her ideals, eventually ordering him to kill mother as she had been secretly plotting with some others not of hyena kind. Aminifu proved his loyalty to his daughter without remorse, killing his queen thus marking Dhalimu the reigning Queen and any that would attempt to challenge or go against her would have to answer to him first. Thus begins the Reign of the Tyrant Queen.

Dhalimu learned very quickly about the nearby lion pride living in the wonderful place called the Pride Lands. Using some birds and rodents, she got wind of the Royal Lion couple who just had a cub - a young male, fit to be their heir. She and a small group of her clan surprise visited them before their coronation, their numbers overwhelming the lions. The King, Potea at the time, relucantly gave into the hyena's demands in order to protect his son.

Dhalimu let Hasara spend more time with his mother, but warned her that if anything should happen such as she trying to leave... The Hyena Queen took Potea on a walk, to get to know the lands leaving her loyalest to watch over them as the rest made themselves comfortable in their new home.

Dhalimu returned alone to the monolith that was Pride Rock, and though Hasara had a suspicion that she had killed him she couldn't prove it. Once her cub was old enough, she tried to make a deal with the hyena which ended badly for them. Hasara had killed a few hyenas on being attacked by them, one of which had been Aminifu. Dhalimu didn't take kindly to her family being killed, some which were to have cubs soon. Even she knew that in lion tradition, killing would-be mothers was a crime. Some of her best clan members she ordered to take the lioness away, which they did without question after subduing her. Dhalimu used the lioness's own cub against her, threatening his life if she didn't cooperate and proving that she hadn't been bluffing by biting the young cub's hind toes off causing him to cry out and mother to growl but otherwise cooperated finally, though reluctantly.

Dhalimu became said cub's guardian as he grew, but she reminded him every time he thought of trying something about his parents and threatening them. He knew this... Tyrant Queen wasn't lying, given his lack of much of a mane, broken tail and scarred back paws. In short, he became and was treated as a slave to hyena. Mtumwa they called him, meaning "Slave."

One day Mtumwa managed to catch Dhalimu alone and off guard, attacking her on learning through some animal gossip that she had already killed his parents leaving a nasty scar on her face, however as he was in a weakened state due to malnutrition and lack of food she returned the favor by leaving a bad scar along his neck and another at his muzzle. However, that was enough distraction that Mtumwa managed to wriggle free of his captor after biting hard on her paw being running away. Mtumwa vowed that justice would be served, but first he needed to find allies.

Dhalimu, no longer having Aminifu had no one to give chase and she herself wouldn't have been able to keep up thanks to his bite. She growled in response at the form getting distance every second, but there was nothing she could do. She instead focused her attention on her Kingdom and clan, to discuss important matters. Deciding next ranks and such, thus became the clan known as the Kitambi Clan, a ruthless clan lead by their queen.
