Welcome to digital art therapy AKA my characters suffer and I watch-This wasn’t even vent art, I just like drawing Sleet crying, as it combines feels and oil, two things I find a lot of fun. Because his body temperature is constantly hovering near freezing (hence the ice decorating him) he can’t cry water like most people and robots do, so he has a separate oil reservoir he uses for crying. This creeps a lot of people out, because... well, it’s basically the robot equivalent of crying blood. This is also why he doesn’t like crying in front of people, but everyone cracks sometime.
Anyway, this is my first black and white piece I’ve ever done, and I’m super duper happy with it tbh! Ahhhh I love it-
Anyway, have some feels! Also no mature content filter since no one’s hurt-

Sleet: *jumps slightly, looking at the Animal before relaxing slightly; the thick, black fluid was still dripping down his face, however, and he looked devastated, hugely upset. He didn’t answer in his usual joking fashion, instead pulling her close, his hands shaking, cold radiating off of him in waves, much like would happen with Mana when she got upset*

This would be after he gets Flare back to base, but he thinks he’s too late and is very hardcore blaming himself, hence the breakdown

*Mana frowned more at his state. Squeaking slightly once he pulled her in a shaky hug. She licked his forehead and nuzzled his cold chest, purring softly; wanting to tell him that everything would be okay*

*Sleet Just holds her close, he breathing and body shaking, temperatures having dropped well below freezing. The droplets of oil plopping onto her fur wasn’t a pleasant feeling, and the robot didn’t make a single sound; however, his lips moved, mouthing various things, but mostly things along the lines of “She’s gone, and it’s my fault”
