Cloud was as a young cat given to a loving two-leg family that already had a beautiful she-cat by the name of Cinder. He grew up with her at his side, and once he was an adult they had two wonderful litters of kits together. His and his mate's lives would change, however when during a storm lightning hit their home, and caused a fire. They were both able to get out, but knew they could never return to their home. That was when they started to live as loners, and figured out how to hunt on their own. Cloud did his best to look after his mate Cinder, and did what he could when she had his third litter of kits, sadly only one of the four kits they had survived. Cloud did all he could for his family, and often went out for hunting in order to provide for his family.

One day, the three suddenly found themselves in the middle of a battle, and ended up separated from Lucky in the chaos. Cloud had a feeling in his gut his son was alive, and told Cinder that they must keep searching for him. He went out to hunt, and got caught up in the middle of another battle, and tried his best to make it through the claws and teeth on both ends. He managed to make it back to Cinder, but was fatally injured. The tom's last words told Cinder to keep looking for their son, and to not give up hope. He after death has followed Cinder and the clans, and was relieved when the fighting ended, and joined his fallen kits in the afterlife.
