My only problem is that the grown up wolf's paws seem too big and..flat?
Its not that easy drawing paws correctly,even I struggle with,but I feelt like pointing that out.
Unless its directly bigger,since she seems pretty scrawny,and thats perhaps why see it like that '^-^

'When I saw my pup, collapsed on the snowy ground, my beating heart froze, for a moment halting the flow of blood from my back. His nose was pressed to the ground, thick gore sneaking over his shoulders. But when he drew a faint, feeble breath through his mouth, causing a small plume to erupt in the wind, I rushed forward, cradling his fragile body in my paws.
"Ma? " He whispered, "Ma... it hurts."
"Sh... I know; I know... But you're going to be fine yang kecil." The nickname brushed past my lips so easily. "You're going to be fine..."
"Ma... You're hurt." My fur was slick with blood.
"I'm fine." I murmured.
"Ma-"
"I'm fine," I stressed, gently taking the tip of the arrow between my claws.
I only removed my own when he was asleep.
It only took a single glance at my pup to remind me why I silenced my screams of pure anguish.'
Sorry. Sorry. I'm a writer, not an artist, and I come to Devianart to be inspired. And, WOW, this floored me. Never had an idea for a short story that quickly. If you want me to take it down, that's fine. I just wanted to show you what this picture inspired.

I don’t think it does, it has no sexual content. It is just a display of someone’s artistic abilities and symbolic interpretation. It may have blood, but everyone has seen blood. I don’t think someone who is too young to have seen blood would even be on this website.

So if someone drew a super detailed drawing with extreme violence and gore in it without a mature content filter it wouldn't need one because the art was good? Art is subjective; one person might hate this drawing while one likes it. Also, some people have a fear of blood. Have you ever heard of phobias?

1:If the gore is of a disturbing intensity, then yes, put a mature content filter on. 2:And I never said it didn’t need one JUST because it was good, I meant it didn’t need one because it’s gore factor was relatively low. 3:Yes, I know of many phobias and have them, including a small phobia of blood. 4:Also, what does preference have to do with a mature filter? My art could be ok to some, and horrible to others. Do I have to put a filter on? No. The whole point is that it wasn’t that bad.

The whole focus on the picture was the arrows and also despite the "factor" of gore being low, (In your opinion) it needs a content filter nonetheless. Also, you made the point that it was a display of the artist's abilities which is basically just saying it's good. Also, also, what if a drawing had a low amount of sexual content? would it need a mature content filter, then?

ok, allow me to make a final point. I f I don't see anything wrong with the image, and you do, then that just reveals the true diversity of the world. Many people would be fine with some blood and arrows, and some won't. If a person catches a slight glimpse of the blood on said image, they can avoid it and just not click on it for further viewing. However that is a bit different for hardcore sexual content or malicious gore that involves dismemberment or the removal of organs. Both of those things are viewed as horrible by the vast majority. If you are saying that it should be taken down because a few people might find it awful, then everything should be taken down as well. People also have irrational phobias, or even ptsd with such an intensity that even a bunny could cause them to freak out. Everything can trigger something in someone. So, in a way, everything should have a filter.
