I can imagine something like this
As Lyci walked around the grassy land, she smiled. It was a beautiful day. Her tiger friend Mstr watched her walk past. His eyes were drawn to her tail. It was so fluffy and alluring. When Lyci passed him, he couldn't resist it anymore. Lyci's expression changed from happiness to shocked. Mstr had grabbed her by the tail with his mouth. Lyci was dragged back a short distance, her paws leaving a small trail in the ground. Mstr smiled as best as he could with Lyci's tail in his mouth, his own tail slowly wagging

Yup. That's me at work. Sneaking up on people and getting a very similar reaction to Lyci's face. It's very surprising how high a person will jump at the softest of tones of the word "Boo". No touching, no yelling, just a very soft "Boo" next to the ear. And that tiger's grin, yeah, that's a happy tiger.
