Description I like colors, mmkay? :

Also, Silere really doesn't have any red. it's just.... what came up.

4x6" watercolor on Bristol. It's likely bigger on the screen than it is in real life.

Very pretty design here, and coloring. I love all the watercolor technique you used here, gives it a very magical feeling.
One thing I think you should think about for future pieces beyond just the technique is the values. Almost everything here is the same value if you squint your eyes, and the darkest parts of the images, are actually that red (despite being bright, it's a darker value than most of the sky). If you can paint in both beautiful colors AND value, your images will really stand out!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed comment and advice. I really appreciate it. Yeah, i saw the value problem right away... but it was just a for-fun piece and an experiment. not sure where i was going, but i didn't get there! The red is such a problem. but too late now!

I have a terrible time bothering to think of light source at all, too. sigh.

I have that happen all the time x3 Finish a piece and then go "oops"
When I'm working on serious paintings, I do a value study in 5 minutes in photoshop just to get an idea of what I want it to look like. Helps so much when I work into the final painting.

You handle watercolours really well. Mine always turn into a messy blob...

Messy blobs are half the fun! But, thanks so much.
