Description When we walked along a little trail the later spring days of this year we know over a very long time, we had this one rare experience to see one of the last "Obstbaumwiesen" in Lower Saxony (a meadow with fruit trees, in this case you have rather old cherry trees) in its spring state (a little bit later the sheeps will come to eat the grass) under a loving light and shadow spending sun...only two hundred meters away from this little paradise you have kilometers of wheat and sugar beet fields without any tree, shrub or field rim...and whenever I'm provoked by this reality I must think about the unbelievably stupid and arrogant working agricaltural policy since 1960th in Middle Europe (especially since age of EU).
Anyway...please enjoy my picture without bad memories of some important history details...

Location of the foto: Southern border of Rettberg (one of the hills of so called "Leine-Bergland") - Lower Saxony (member state of Germany) - Germany - Europe - 31.05.2021
