Yea, Wicked the musical is a lot...happier than the book. I personally like the musical better because it ties in more of the popular culture of The Wizard of Oz than the book does.

I suppose it's like how the original Wizard of OZ book differed from the movie version (only to a lesser extent in Wicked's case)

Is it that musical? 8D It's strange, because I'm from Poland and I get 'London Planner' from my English teacher and while reading this I noticed ad of musical, titled 'The Wicked' with that green witch
