here is my first attempt at drawing a chibi! Props to all the actual chibi artists out here in DA. Chibis are actually really hard to draw! XDAnyways, here is Miss Crinoline (i just made up that name), one of 's OCs.
This was made in Paint tool Sai, and took around 2 hours.

This isn't the first time I've seen an anime girl wear a bare steel cage around her waist, but it's good! ^^
My fave crinoline however, has to be the the kind with plastic or mild wire hoops bound by fabric. It's so light and works great with poofy cosplay gowns. <33

Personally I think this is definately one of your best deviations yet. Overall proportions are perfect (by chibi standards obviously...), Lineart is excellent and for the most part extremely smooth, the outfit is delightful, the hair is beautifully done, the eyes are by far the best I've seen you do to date (of this eye type/style anyway) and look stunning and the colouring is superb. For your first attempt at a chibi this is definately excellent.
In terms of improvement, I can't common as much as I usually would since I'm unfamiliar with chibi drawings and thus aren't really sure of what aspects need to be improved upon here. Only thing I'd like is a background but that's me nitpicking and I more than understand the fact that people don't draw everything with backgrounds as they would a major piece.

i guess it was because i spent more time researching chibis than actually drawing one XD n during my research, i noticed that not many people put a background to chibis, because (quoting a tutorial) " keep it simple!" is the most important rule, which i have some trouble doing o.o
