EDIT: I realized that everyone who has seen this thinks I have stolen a piece by . It is pretty similar to this here which I will admit I used as reference [link] I didn't intend to copy her and I owe her full respect. She is a wonderful artist and I respect her in every way. I did also talk to her and apologized as well and I am going to give her credit for this. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from and I'm not a thief nor am I liar. I am completely against art theft and I don't think it is ever the answer to anything!So again I am sincerely sorry to everyone, especially Jess.

I swear this is the best thing I've done on the computer! I started only yesterday probably in the afternoon and worked on it after short breaks...But...yeah I hope everyone who sees it thinks it looks good :] tried really hard ._.

I'm sorry. I realize I should have done something about or at least said something to. I did just recently talk to her about it and apologized. I'm also thinking about crediting her as well if she really wants me to. I don't think stealing art is a good thing in any way and I would never mean to do it purposely. So I hope everyone can forgive me for that...I'd never want to do something like that to Jess, especially because she is one of my idols and she's an amazing artist. I give her full respect.

Thank you. This is much better and shows you're willing to learn. So many others reduce themselves to flaming and so many other childish things. This is actually refreshing to see. In the future, it is always best to cite your references anyway to avoid something like this period. Asking the artists whom inspire you when you do a work that resembles theirs is best too and then mentioning it in the description. Thanks again for being sincerely sorry and willing to move on in the right direction.

I'm so glad ^^ It was sort of a relief to say sorry and give WSW some of the credit. After I talked to her she seemed really happy and it felt good to know I could do something for my favorite artist 
If anything like this happens again in the future I'll make sure to talk to the artist about it and give them credit.

You may only be 13, but you have shown a lot more maturity in this then a lot of other people would have. Instead of starting flame wars and insults and denials and carrying on; you actually listened, and asked the artist herself, and added the appropriate credits. That's a lot more respect then a lot of other people have shown. Thank you for listening and learning.

You don't need to keep flaming her page. She has said she will change the behavior and now understands exactly what she did wrong. That's a hell of a lot more then most who would just block people or remove comments and keep doing it. It's our duty to behave better and become a good example and teach others when they show merit, and she has.

Rrrrright. I "KEPT" flaming after she admitted to it and wanted to change? Funny, because I was in bed at the point she said this, and hadn't said a word after that. In fact, this is my newest message on this topic after White stepped in.

I would say she is just ignorant, though. She had to wait until she was personally (through note) confronted about it, when she would have been receiving all these messages through her inbox.

I think you should do a little research before you accuse someone of stealing art...? Do you even have a link to the so-called 'original' to back up your claim? Just because she's emulating =WhiteSpiritWolf doesn't mean she blatantly stole from her /:

She should be -mature- and respectable enough to at least take 5 second to credit =WhiteSpiritWolf in her descriptions. It's blatantly clear she is outright basing both elements of background and character design directly from White work and now bothering to even give credit to her "inspiration" smacks of near thievery. It doesn't take long to mention an inspiration and it would go a long way to making this artist far more respectable. Instead, it makes her look like a cheat, a liar, and a copier because you and her are so willing to flame reason why it's not when it would have taken a fraction of that time and stopped a lot of BS by just putting "Inspired by the works of =WhiteSpiritWolf " in the damn description.

Clearly you have never been abused, to use such a strong term so loosely.
