A short animation with Mariella, an original character of mine.

This took many hours but I finally made the animation! Really pleased with the result and even if it's only a few seconds long I feel real proud of it. It is a shame that I can only share the GIF version with lower quality. I am thinking of making a youtube channel to post all my animations and such.

The goal was to make it look professional, like the animation was from an animated series or something. However, this was mainly practice to learn how to use Opentoonz animation software and Hitfilms Express video editing software. Both are free and surprisingly powerful tools once you know how to use them. I gained a lot from this and it makes me feel like I am one step closer to making my own animated series or anime.

I left out some details, like the top part of the hat and the creases on the shirt, because it was too hard fro me to animate.
