The detailedness and the twisted perfection of bone are so realistic....

beautiful!
I've never heard of this technique being used before. :]

I reaally like the way you did the shading, it looks perfect. Almost like a real picture. :b

What animal's skull is this?

Thanks, but i donΒ΄t know what itΒ΄s supposed to be, a friend of mine had the little skull in his studio and asked him if i could draw from it, but he doesnΒ΄t know either ._.

This technique on wood is very interesting, I can't say as I have seen this done before. This one doesn't hold the same power that Escapulario does. I think it has something to do with the negative space, whereas in Escapulario it is so textural and rich. I certainly believe you have something nice happening with this technique... I would love to see many more. Very nice!

Yeah, i think youΒ΄re right! the pic presented here is actually a bit clipped since the original painting used a bit more space and you could see a lot more texture in the background, but looking at it in the pc it didnΒ΄t quite hold alright, and i believe too the space here becomes an issue, thank you very much for the critique as always!

I'm trying to work out what creature it is o.O

But apart from that, great work. =] Escapulario definitely wasn't a one-off hit; looking forward to seeing more works of yours.

Thanks, i am not sure what animal this skull is supposed to be, i think itΒ΄s like a goat or something, or maybe a small cow? who knows, anyone here knows?
