This is amazing! How did you do then seam on the chest? I'm having trouble with this xD Can't add extra fabric to fold it back because of all the corners

I cut the tunic collar to be the basic undershape
Then I trace the neckhole out on a piece of fabric. Then add 2.5 inches to that tracing.
This makes the basic shape/design for the fabric piece that needs to sew over.
Then, I cut that out, pin it right side of the top design to wrong side of the tunic to the inside of the tunic.
I sew that down at a 1/4" seam allowance and cut the corners near the stitching line so it turns nicely.
then flip the design over, iron it down.
Then turn the raw edges over and press those down and machine sew down with a fine stitch.

I wanted to let you know, that thanks to your explanation, it all worked out just fine! All I need to do, is add those strings on the chest and arms

Also, I was wondering if you just cut little holes into the fabric to run the strings trough, or did you make little buttonholes? I'm afraid the fabric will rip along to much when I don't enhance it somehow... Sorry, for asking, I'm such a noob at this

Awesome!! I used fray check on the spots, let that dry, and then used a round leather punch to make the hole neat.
You could just use scissors too.

Oh.. I didn't know it could work out just fine when you add extra fabric to the tracing. I thought it wouldn't work because of all those darn corners Well, thank you so much for the advice. I will definitely try it!

;_; LOVE THIS.
I KNOW NOTHING OF SEWING BUT: I HAVE PROMISED MYSELF, ALONG WITH MY GIRLFRIEND, THAT I WOULD TACKLE TP LINK'S GEAR AND COSPLAY AS HIM. I TRULY FEEL THAT I'M GOING IN OVER MY HEAD WHEN I LOOK AT THIS PERFECTION. *is extremely overwhelmed*

QUICK QUESTION WHAT DID YOU USE FOR LINK'S TUNIC?.... AND FOR UNDERSHIRT?

Thank you very much! I could always make one for you. But if you want to do it yourself, that's awesome too. The tunic on this one is a linen cotton blend dyed green and the undershirt is a brushed cotton twill.

Thank you for the clarification!
I'd love to have you tailor me a costume but sadly, at the moment I'm extremely low on cash, so I'll try my best to work it out... and when I fail miserably I'll gladly crawl back to you with a few questions and depending how poorly I did, I may just take you up on your offer.
