Description
This "design" was a little present for my schoolmates and rest of academy, even most of them was angry, because they had to saw it up on suits
There where many limits for this design... but I hope I have done my best in this limits

I'm not sure what defence force this is, like airforce or something, but they look like badges for an award or something, like medals.

They are not medals, it is for makeing difference between uniforms at my academy.. every year has one... in my language that word has a base of the difference word. Also every unit in the army has own one

My partner says, that they are the actual insignia to specifiy each unit. A badge.
I was trying to determine what you could also call them in English, like you were asking above.
