Brainy Brian of the Garbage Pail Kids manages to pacify the zombies by giving them an artificial brain substitute called Brainfu. Venus de Milo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is relieved by how things have gone, but knows that it's not over yet, so she decides to go after Ned the Necromancer, Vam-Mi, and Slash II to make them pay for causing all these messes on Halloween night in the first place.

We cut to Equestria, where Ned the Necromancer has tried to menace the Apple family by resurrecting the corpses of Bright Mac and Pear Butter. Apple Bloom and Applejack are scared out of their minds, but their undead parents assure them that they don't mean any harm and are simply curious about how their youngest daughter got her Cutie Mark.

Ned completely flips over Mr. and Mrs. Apple refusing to obey his orders, and he loses it even more when Venus confronts him.

He orders Vam-Mi and Slash II to attack, but they've already been taken out by former Gravedale High students Vinnie Stoker and Reggie Moonshroud, who will explain what they're doing here shortly.

I do not think the popes of the Apple brothers are dead, but just like a nice reunion

People involved in the show actually said that Mr. and Mrs. Apple are deceased. I know that the actual show seems open-ended about it at times, but you'd think they'd have made an appearance in present-day by now if they were alive and well.

so they must show how they died, or who revive by a miracle or modification of history

My Little Pony is still a children's show. Just because they're fine with discussing death doesn't mean their references to it are allowed to get too grisly and dark.

I know their deaths happened on-screen, but that doesn't mean all works aimed at children have to be that true to reality.
