This is great artwork, and an intesting idea. I'm writing my own fanfiction that gives the Captain a deep backstory (my own ideas , of course), and gives life to your shipping of Hans and Seras by explaining their relationship and how they fell in love. May even post it to youtube. #Sans
P.S. I love your Hans and Seras art! They're so cute together!

Yah, it make you wonder why he was in with those psychos!! LOL
I found this page on Gaia, and I'm certain it's just fan speculation, but it sounds like Cap's real life story!

It is kinda understandable. Hirano didn't have to create whole life story of many characters, especially the Millenium members, because it simply wasn't needed. Potentially, no one cares about bad guys, because mainly they don't have an "happy end" in films, books, etc. It truly depends on fans, which character they will adore the most. And when they choose, they will try to write character's biography by theirselves.
And about Gunsche himself, something is telling me, that he wasn't brainwashed. Of course, it's my personal opinion. Also I (don't know why) think, that he can speak, he's not mute. Captain is simply too loyal and stoic to waste time on talking, LOL. Why he joined Nazis? Hard to say for me, especially when he wasn't cruel, greedy and mainly bad. However he fits to German soldiers (non-fanatics). They were pure, generous and had their ethos, and maybe this is what Gunsche found in German forces?
Ooops, now that's a long comment x)

Yes, and sometimes characters just don't need a backstory. And sometimes they're only better without one.
I'm wondering, what the hell is Capi doing with such a bunch of weaklings as the rest of the Millenium is when compared to him. And why is he with humans anyway? If the last werewolf just wanted to die in a glorious battle, I bet the he would't need to rot 55 years in stinking bunker in the Brazilian outback for it. My lil theory is that it's more about Major than the Millenium or Nazis. You know, Major is his Alpha dog and so on, and Major just happens to collect other freaks around him.
But this is Hellsing and Hirano and we aren't supposed to be this analytic. It's undead nazis on zeppelins, teleporting catboys and big breasted draculinas. XD
