Many questions remain unanswered; for instance, what was it that began the war between the Humans and the Monsters that resulted in the Monsters' banishment under Mount Ebott? What was it that drove the first human to jump into the mountain in an attempt to end their own life? What caused that same human to have such tremendous hatred for mankind that they attempted to murder their own villagers? What was Asriel speaking of when he warned Frisk that there would be others out on the surface who could not be won over with kindness? And, perhaps MOST curiously, who exactly are the mysterious Monsters that seem to know about your powers, particularly the Man Who Speaks In Hands that the River-person warned you of?

Your DETERMINATION has brought you far, child. But an even greater trial than any you have undertaken before awaits you if you are to learn the answers to these questions.
