Stuck Together is my second favorite episode of the whole series. An episode dedicated to show Lars’ and Steven’s characters clashing more and than in any other episode. One character has given up, and the other desperately tries to help and save him. It’s then that they find out, however, that they’re not so different after everything. They tend to bottle up their feelings behind different models: Lars, as someone tough and mean. Steven, as the optimistic and sole savior of his friends, human and gem kind. But in the end, they’re both young boys with serious self-hatred, and all they ever want is to confide in someone with their real feelings. And here, they finally find it in one another.
