I have been a deviantart member for quite a few years now and I faved this on my old account and just wanted to tell you even after all the years on here and searching through a million pictures this is still my favorite picture in the entire world. It speaks to me so much, It is just so beautiful it leaves me speechless! Amazing!

this seems to have a slight blue tint to it... or maybe it's just my monitor...
whichever, it looks cool. too bad you coudlntt tell those people in the other boat to buzz off.
might be fun to try this again with a longer exposure (so the water, etc is a little blurred)... just an idea.

NEAT! I think the black and white format really compliments this shot. It adds to that dreamy magazine type feel of this one. I like how you can't quite see Caroline's face in this shot, it makes you curious about her, about why she would be adrift in a lonesome little boat. Makes you wonder if she's lost, or purposefully floating away. Or maybe I'm just overintelectualizing this. DAMN those years of AP english have turned me into a super-nerd!

beautiful. this was a great little series
i know it's EXTREMELY cliche but, i think you would take some really amazing graveyard photos... especially with yourself and your models (ok ok, Carolina ) in the pictures.... lots of people take cememtery shots and it's the "goth" thing to do but with your visions and your beauty, i think you would have some amazing shots. blah blah blah. i'll shut up now.

i just love this. my initial thought was that the water line should be straight but i quickly realized an error in judgement. i have MANY shots with uneven horizons, grounds, etc., because that is how i chose to compose the shot; that is how it worked.
