I admit, i have alot of ideas, but i am always worried about forgetting one. No matter how hard i try to write them all down, i always seem to forget one here and there. Sometimes i am just too lazy to find a pen and paper and sure enough i 'drop' it, thus passing into oblivion...and the most annoying part....i can't remember if it was a good idea or just a trifle.just an iconographic representation of this 'idea'....and the one that got away.

Lorraine, it's unfortunate that I haven't had the chance yet to comment on any of your works. You've been on my watchlist for a while now, and I've been keeping a close eye on both your photography as well as your journal entries, which I find quite mature in thought.
I've picked this piece of yours to comment on and make my introduction because I think it encapsulates exactly what you do so well. Idea + execution. I like how your photos seem to revolve around a concept and then you build on that through execution.
The idea, of course, carries this piece. The composition, superb. My eyes go back and forth from the pile of bulbs to the one broken one on the floor. It really is a pleasure to view. I think the tone further brings out the artistic nature of this shot. All in all, high quality, and it's nice to see it coming from a place littered with thoughtless shots. Thank you for sharing, and I'll look forward to commenting more for sure.

this is *such* agreat piece! I lvoe the idea with the... lamps (? :blushes) in her dress, like she is "keeping" her ideas/thoughts in it - but unfortunately one is broken/got lost. It's a great idea and I've never seen anything like this before, it's unique and creative! and the tones here are so rich, you can not not like it
I hope not too many of your creative get lost this way?

This is such a great concept. The title really makes the entire thing though. If it were just the picture, it wouldn't make any sense. But the title makes it completely brilliant (hah, no pun intended.) +fav for this one.

(sorry, but).. I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one!
If I close my eyes, I can see a big grassy, field, one tree on the right side, a bright sky, and thousands of words, sentences, quotes, ideas, etc et etc... all passing by like the NASDAQ.. (no joke).. I feel like I have to reach up and grab what I want to say sometimes... its also why I often end up speaking fast.

gosh i love this, i'm always terrified of losing an idea. i promise myself i will write them down... but i usually get my ideas as i'm falling asleep, then i'm just too tired to get up and upon waking find i have no clue as to what i was thinking. At the same time i have a list of concepts i'm holding on to, ones i came up with while awake, i'm hoping desperately to get them out of my head and onto film one of these days.
Your concepts are always wonderful and your executions perfect, this one really grabs me.
