At first glance I thought it was an ocean scene. It's funny thinking of everyone who views this image turning their heads to look at it "right-side up".

I like the perspective on this. I Immidiatly turned my head upside down, like anyone would and then realized, "what the hell am i thinking", turned it back around and the above sttement popped into my head.

Trees always have a way of speaking to us if we listen, and those "roots" clearly want to absorb what no plain of dirt could ever give.

There was an exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario, where there a room full of huge beautiful shots of trees in black and white, all upside down.
This one has an extra kick with great colours,

well its an interesting concept.. i thought just for a fleeting moment that it perhaps was a reflection in water
maybe take it further, do an entire gallery installation of uspide down pieces
