this was such a fun shoot!!!!! My makeup artist was awesome. My assitants were incredible. Things are so much easier when you have some good help.
Beauty shots are some of the most difficult type of photography technically.Shadowless lighting is certainly an art (especially when you have a crappola light kit). For the techy geeks: This was shot with a macro ring flash, 2 500 watt strobes with umbrellas and one huge soft boxed 500 watt tungsten and a silver reflector.

Oooh, I remember those... I loved those.. There were some sort of cookies with a puffy cream and those sprinkels on top... Oh, joy! The joy of childhood, and of course.. .. all the joy of adulthood seeing them on a pretty luscious face.. hm.

how did you get the candy to stick? why did you need a ring flash when you had a huge soft box that gives wonderfully soft light? what size is it?
