Description Finally finished my Super Detailed Stitch! I love it!

Anyways, here's a lot of different views for you to look at. He's 5.5" tall. Made out of Super Sculpey with a Tinfoil skeleton. After I baked it, bought some acrylic paints to color him with. Actually, had to re-paint him after the first coat of blue, as it was far too bright for Stitch. Lots of custom color mixing. So, in raw materials he cost about $15 in raw material and took 20 hours of work to finish.

Still, it was worth it!

Why thank you! Yeah, I went Stitch happy and bought quite a few things of him, lol. Plus, I made a lot of Stitch sculptures. (Got 5 more in my gallery, plus other Lilo and Stitch characters, if you're interested?)

Oh, and if you'd ever like one, I take commissions.

Thanks again! ^^

lordzasz In reply to tcm13 [2007-05-07 17:11:08 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I do! I've got a couple other sculptures to put up as soon as I can take the photos (one of a random dragon and the other of Sora ala Kingdom Hearts 1) and I've already made several smaller Lilo and Stitch sculptures (in my gallery).

As for another Stitch, I probably will! Maybe with his red jumpsuit?

holy cow!!! what perfect detail!!! Awesome work, woowwww it's like perrfectly smooth and proportional... tinfoil skeleton, haha I love it-- I always use paperclips for armature

lordzasz In reply to e-tahn [2007-04-01 17:10:23 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!

You should try it sometime. It's pretty stable and it allows you to make much larger sculptures without having to spend a lot more money on clay.

e-tahn In reply to lordzasz [2007-04-01 21:28:08 +0000 UTC]

Hmmmm maybe I'll consider woring with it then! Yeah all the stuvv I've seen done with it has been so good; so far I've just dabbled and made little mini-sculptures with plain Sculpey, but I do want to get into it more... maybe after practicing a bit more I'll try some o' that Super Sculpey.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

lordzasz In reply to e-tahn [2007-04-02 02:48:58 +0000 UTC]

Actually, this is my first project with Super Sculpey! (It's expensive!!!) But yeah, it's basically a lot more workable, less needing and such to soften it up. Down side is you've gotta paint it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

e-tahn In reply to lordzasz [2007-04-28 21:38:28 +0000 UTC]

aww yeah I heard it's tons better than actual sculpey. Well I guess it's worth the cost I always work with white sculpey anyway, so the painting won't affect me all that much

lordzasz In reply to Phoenix52 [2007-04-01 17:08:16 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!!!

Yes, I wanted to make him as close to the original stitch model as possible. (They changed the coloring and look for the series and movies based off of that from the design he had in the original movie) But, thank you again, I'll take that as a wonderful compliment!
