Description An experiment that did not fully work out. Applied Blender's new Subsurface Scattering shader (SSS) to Sean trying to get in particular a translucent wing effect. Blender though fumbles up the SSS in this case. In the end though I want SSS to be in my game engine and this is supposed to be a test case. Since Blender didn't work out to provide the ground truth I've been after I went ahead and added some post-processing to spice up the scene and turning it into a screen wallpaper format. Maybe I figure out once the problems with the SSS shader Blender once upon time.
