A wonderful image. I think you did a good job on the colouring and the motion. The picture sprang into my mind because I plan to do a Metroid fan art featuring her as well - it's not very easy to bring out the grace in her, is it. For Samus Aran, even though she might be stuck in her suit is astonishingly graceful. I already did some sketches for a character study and figured that out fairly quickly.
Your Samus still looks a little limp and rigid, but I blame you not for it. I still don't really know how to make her graceful either.
Good work still though...
