welcome to DAL vs Danmachi: Ais Catastrophe. just started and did my first roll on this game and I already got Tohka as a party member along with Kotori and Kaguya with Lili as Yuzuru as assists. so now I just need Ais as the devil princess tohka. so the basic set up so far as I just started is apparently Bell had a bad dream that something bad was coming. people were dying and explosions were happening and the culprit was Ais Wallenstein. yep, the girl he wants to impress and stand has committed murders and wants to destroy the dungeon. why? I guess we'll find out as the DAL girls are also summoned to this world. Kurumi as always is in the background watching things unfold with great interest. I guess I'll see how it plays out as the game itself is simple but I can see the appeal though I do wish crunchyroll took their name off of it. like really just take their name off.also it's kind of funny to me that Kurumi is the mascot they chose for thise over Tohka lol but I but I guess since Ais is already turned into Devil Princess through Tohka's devil crystal I guess it's a trade off. Will Bell save Ais? or will he die trying? all depends on you players as you have 20 days to start and play this event to see if you get DAL girls in your party to explore the dungeons.

Got Kotori to max with 5 dupes Hestia to 4 limit with dupes, Tohka to 2 limit with dupes, Kurumi to 1 limit, Ais and Origami to no limit.
The game always gives me assist units to be maxed out. Got the F2P unit to max.

As for part 1 of the story it does make me wish we got an OVA of this since its not often bell gets this emotional since he's watching a girl he admires and wants to show he's worthy of her fall from graced in a Inversed state.

Okay Iβm back. Also just finished the last episode of season 3. Damn disappointed, it was disappointing because they didnβt leave a cliffhanger for a 4th season. That means NO NIA!!!!

If you're talking about date a live I don't think any of the of the seasons left cliff hangers either cause they're no guaranteed return seasons so they close every season like it's their last.

Hmm letβs see. Season 1: left people wondering who killed origamiβs parents. Season 2 gave off more cliffhangers: when Kotori was talking, she stated if Shidoβs spirit mana gets out of hand that sheβll kill him herself. And at the last episode of season 2 Kurumi stated βlooks like the captive spirit isnβt here eitherβ

which again those weren't guarantees of another season to start off and those are more in tune with home releases that had those extended scenes than the tv releases. and none of the episodes have had anything to say they aren't canon since it borrows from the main story and spin offs.
in fact those endings you brought up aren't the kinds of endings that work better than season 3 those endings were made specifically saying "Stop asking for another season and read the light novels" that is literally the only reason those scenes are there. you could cut those out and end the seasons without mentioning them and put them at the beginning of a different season or in one of the earlier episodes as a footnote and you'd still get the same result. season 3 is no exception to this. it's great it got another season and if it gets another one like high school dxd did then good on it but it's obvious they aren't looking for TV ratings they're trying to get you hooked on it so you only read the novels.Β
an outside example proving this fact is Konosuba's author who outright state he didn't want another anime season. at all. all he wanted was for people to read his damn novels and just used the anime to promote it which is why there are some chapters missing.
the only ones who want an anime to keep existing so far are high school dxd and a certain magical index and Oreimo pretty much succeeded in being the only light novel series to go all in an anime with all its source material covered mostly.
a real cliff hanger to a season is ending on a "what the fuck moment?" or a sudden reveal of the next plot point greenlighting something big will come next season or in the next movie of something.

it'd be interesting but the story writers chose to make this about Ais. also for the story it looks shido and his harem of spirit ladies woke up randomly in the dungeon of orario aka the danmachi world and origami still finds time to make shido do lewd things to her by saying they need to absolutely sure they have no injuries lol
