You're right people forget the original '58/'59 version before 'The Alvin show' and they do need more love.

Yeah it is kind of funny because I always see people talking about the 'original 'munks' and then they refer to the 80/90 version.I just want to yell at them and say that the chipmunks have been around for over 50 years,but that is what most people forget because when they think of the 'munks they go straight to the 80/90 version.It gets annoying after awhile though

Yes, and I think the 60s Munks deserve more attention as well. It's true that they have some fan art already, but not as much as their 80s/90s/'07 counterparts.

Yeah, it seemed to me that 60s Alvin only caused trouble for the sake of causing trouble, while future generations at least had motives. To me, that's what gives the 60s Munks their appeal. And I love their funny way of talking, too.

XD I think they're cute as in "Nobody remembers or likes them" Not necessarily how they look (They look like giant real chipmunks on 2 feet) but I always like the characters that get no attention XD
