Description
Abdul Sahshir is the main protagonist of the Spirit of Wrath. He is one of the core protagonists of my Heaven and Hellfire series. Envisioned initially as an enthusiastic blood knight who fought for great justice. However, this comical take did not sync with Heaven and Hellfire's serious world. Thus, his character was reimagined to have a significant fatalistic streak. One owed to a sickness contracted as a child. Sahshir has extremely rigid principles and believes in doing what is right.

Ironically, Sahshir also has a severe lack of empathy for other people. At times, they can demonstrate somewhat sociopathic behavior. He is a passionate follower of Baltoth as a God and can also be capable of great acts of mercy. Of the three protagonists, Sahshir is by far the strongest in physical prowess. However, he needs Relma's charisma and cunning or William's analytical nature. His status as a heroic blood knight came from Minsc in the Baldur's Gate series. While his characterization as a stoic and principled warrior came from Ryu Hayabusa. At the same time, Sahshir serves as a deconstruction of both archetypes. Many of the qualities he shares with the traditional badass action hero are unhealthy.
