I don't know who needs to hear this, but if anyone asks you about personal information with the promise of being your friend, do not engage with them.

They will either try to steal your contact information and use it for malicious purposes at best, and or find other ways to worm their way into your life so they can harm you at worst.

I'm not saying you shouldn't trust anyone and everyone, but I'm saying that all of you should be careful who you talk to on the internet and what kind of info you send, because you never know who’s behind the screen.

And if anyone was worried about me specifically, I'm fine. the incident happened recently and I was old enough, and able to get out of dodge long before any significant damage occurred, and I already reported the guy.
