I wish I knew too. I used to talk with her occasionally over IMs, and I wanted to do more work for this story. But things slowed down after a little while and we didn't talk as often; I always thought she was still around until one day someone here commented that they couldn't find her work anymore.

ok now that I know what the author is dead, this only makes this picture even creepier!! Love the pic by the way! i wonder why they had to take the stuff down, wouln't it be better to keep her stuff up to keep her memory alive?

As far as I know there has been no official notice from anyone on any of her old accounts that have been taken down (say, by a friend/family member/etc. who removed her accounts if this was the reason for their removal) other than ff.n that she is actually deceased. Her journal accounts were deleted around the time her ff.n was, and according to ff.n policy I don't think there's any way to delete your own ff.n account other than this way. (Slightly morbid of ff.n, imho.)
So (although I admit it may only be wishful thinking on my part) what I hope happened was that she just wanted to take down her accounts, remove her presence from the internet, and the only way to do it (in ff.n's case) was contacting site admin and getting them to take down the account for this reason.
I must admit I don't have any evidence one way or another (I have not seen her anywhere else since), besides the removal of the other accounts without any mention of the reason ff.n states.
Either way, I do miss her and her stories. I hope she's out there somewhere and still okay.
