Radiant Celestia, and Her Grace, Princess Luna.I always personally envisioned Celestia to be the more temporal ruler, while Luna was a more spiritual leader. I dunno why I just feel like the role works better with her powers over dreams, and the night. Shut up. My headcanon demands it! *dies*

Hot damn do I love fan theories. There are these two concerning the Celestial Princesses origins that I'm particularly fond of myself.
You once again just blew my mind with the sheer detail put into the manes, the crowns and the crests those two are wearing.
While I guess a lot of people tend to feel more used to the show's style in which the ponies are presented (i.e. sharing pretty much the exact same physical characteristics, size, weight, eyes, etc. between the four pony types) I also like how you managed to add some differentiating features into the two, like Celestia's eyes being more softer drawn in comparison to Luna's more fierce eyes (I like this kind of feature for portraying younger determined characters) as well as Celestia's neck being noticeably thicker than Lunas to differentiate the age gap between them and really point out that Celestia is the elder by more than just general body size comparison.

Mmm, doing the ponies in a more detailed style is much more difficult, but for me it's very interesting. It just adds so much to the characters.
Glad you noticed the little differences, it's always difficult to make the differences subtle enough to make them look alike but still different.

Wow. They indeed are pretty pony princesses, even cute pony princeses. I like the expression you gave them, strong yet caring, and the headress is incredible. Love how Lunas ribbons are blowing in the wind ^^.

I can see that, yes... you did a great job there, though. The differently-shaped muzzles, the eyes and the different manes all set them apart; just a bit, but it's enough to make it clear they're merely sisters, not identical twins.
