Description
This is my first tattoo. It's done on the outside of my right calf and is about the size of my palm (maybe just a little bigger)
The tattoo represents my son, Jaxon. He will be one on July 28! He is our first child and has done a lot of good on my heart.
He was born at night (van gogh's starry night)
He was born in the year of the rabbit (bunny on the moon)
He was born with the birthstone Ruby (the red in the flower)
He was born with the birth flower Water Lily (the flower, obviously - July's other flower is the larkspur)

Among these reasons for the everyday person, there are some corny meanings...
No matter how dark the night, he will always be the light that leads me to safety (the moon & stars)
No matter how ugly/crappy I feel, really am a unique beautiful person, and he helps make me that way.

Never thought myself cut out to be a Mom - turns out its the ideal job I've been tracking down all my life.
