Description
A star. How come?
A fallen one perhaps...

Why here? The sky
Must have been yearning for its light.

But here, it wilted as it waited.
For the ocean has no ears for its plight.

It prayed it soon be found.
So dear fate told me, "Hear that sound."

"I have a secret, my friend,"
The star hushed into my ear.

"Whisper your wish," it said
Before my death comes near."

"So then my wish, here is,"
I said. "Now, listen."

"I wish for you to shine again...
Like how you were back then."

As water washed, the star was gone!
Oh, where'd it go? How come?

I looked to find not even a trace,
And a smile appeared on my face.

I made come true, the star's wish!
For it had made mine granted.

Because for once, A star too, I have become,
By wishing the wish it wanted.
