Why is a raven like a writing desk?My own take on a character I have always liked.
Used a lot of reference for this one: for the pose I used a 3D render of Daz's Michael. The overall look is inspired (apart from Sir John Tenniel's drawings) on Alice Cooper and Snowy Shaw (saw the latter last year with Therion... what a show...).
Done on n6 drawing paper, with the usual graphite quartet: 6B bar, 5B, 2B, 4H pencils. Some smudging was done with smudgesticks, a paper towel and my finger.
May 24th - I scanned in 3 parts and joined it. Looks a lot better now.

Gracias... estuve un poco ocupada así que no pude ponerme a dibujar mycho. Tengo 2 más casi listos para escanear y subir pero no he tenido la oportunidad de terminarlos. Espero esta semana poder subir el primero.

Me alegra que te guste. Es hasta ahora mi dibujo favorito, aunque debo admitir que hago un poco de trampa y uso referencias para las poses y para saber dónde poner las sombras

I really like your version of him, especially how he\'s dangling that cup :3. The lighting on the top half of the pic(hair and hands etc) is looking really nice. The leg on the left side of the pic is kinda odd though. I can\'t tell where the lower half is? (but maybe it\'s looking like taht in the reference too?)

About the leg. The gray object in the lowest part of the picture is supposed to be a table. He´s laying his left foot on the table. I guess I should've worked a little more on it
I might try to fix it. Thanks for pointing that out
