Description

Spinosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaurs that lived in what is now North Africa
during the late Lower and early Upper Cretaceous.
In the representation you can see how Spinosaurus aegyptiacus (2022) lurking on shore or shallow water for its next prey.
Despite the recent finding that its tail appeared to be hydrodynamically adapted to aquatic conditions,
I personally doubt that it used this for underwater acceleration when hunting.
The physique, its center of gravity and the sail on its back would create too much resistance in the water
for it to be able to glide through it quickly.
So I believe that with his bulky body shape, he swam, or went underwater to the nearest resource source
and used the tail for balance and minimal propulsion.
