I can see what you mean about the Mucha influence in the corona, the hair and those gorgeous muted green and rose hues, although I can't off the top of my head recall any three-quarter portraiture he did.

Honey, you're art always tends to amaze me... I've always beena fan of the little mermaid-- i can sing her songs as if I were indeed-- she. That's my little talent. i dont have much art up... But I'd be REALLy greatful... and I shouldnt even ask this... if the next piece you created, you produced, could be like your others... only make her african american...make an african american little mermaid.... as beatuful as the rest.

I often feel like there are too many great manga artists out there to watch them all, so I only have a couple on my list. However, I came across your gallery today and I was blown away - you have a wonderful style. I love the way you fuse Manga with Art Nouveau (espcially in your borders and backgrounds, and the way you frame the pieces), and I feel that is beautifully illustrated on this piece.
I'll be watching you from now on. Thanks for the great art!
