Description My final for Drawing I this year.
I honestly wasn't sure what a lot of these objects were, so if you ask I'm not sure how well I'll be able to answer.

I can imagine! How long did the piece take you all together? Oh and you're welcome!

How big is this in real life? I hope it's fairly large, because man, those are a lot of details :'D Also, that teapot = incredible. I really, really like the shading on it.
Charcoal still lifes always remind me of art classes in high school. Gooooood times.

It is pretty big! I don't know the exact dimensions but my guess is maybe... 24x18? I think all the pictures I made in this class involved the most detail I've ever drawn. xD

The class was often referred to as "charcoal hell" by the students, though. Seriously, nothing but charcoal drawing after charcoal drawing... You had to make sure to wear black clothes, or they would be black by the end of the block.

Ah, our years of high school art classes... I miss them!

Oh wow, so yeah, definitely bigger than your average-sized piece of paper. That's good!

Dude. That class definitely sounds like detail and charcoal hell @_@ I can just imagine, everyone sitting in this class drawing furiously while black clouds of charcoal puffs start to fill the room...xD

I miss them too! It's been a whole two years since we had an art class together. Isn't that crazy?

That was pretty much it. Low lighting, too, of course, minus the ones shining on the objects themselves... It was a kind of weird, gloomy, charcoal-y, but oddly warm atmosphere.

It's weird, it feels like ages ago and yet not so long ago at the same time... Hey, I just remembered the orange roleplay folder! Do you remember which one of us had it last..?

Very good detail, I love how you did the shading on the horse toy and the teapot in the lamp shade. You pay very acute attention to every aspect of your drawings. Was this for high school or college?

Thanks a lot! It felt like tedious work at times, but I'm happy with the result too! This was a freshman college course.

Ahaha, you said the exact same thing as my mom...
No, it's not a sponge on a stick, though I'm really not sure what it is... It was made of metal though o_o
