extraordinary...

interesting how presenting the stems (rather than flowers) as subjects transforms a botanical piece into a structural one. at first glance, recalls mapplethorpe's flowers, though not really.

the tenderly expiring film, whose emulsion is evident, creates a soft foil for the structural aspects of the photo.

very nicely done. a worthy use of polaroid film.
