Backstory:
Hendrix was born thousands of years ago in a large Voolkin village called Gehsta' Pel, located in The Great Northern Mountains. His mother Marea was a healer while his false father Malik (The one who raised him but was not his true father. Malik though Hendrix was his true son) was the current leader of the Voolkin at the time. Now, as Hendrix grew up, he was often looked down upon by other tribe members as his false father was a lousy leader. He always strived to gain a better image of himself in the eyes of his tribe, but struggled to do so, making him rebellious and troubled. At around the age of eight, Hendrix struggled to gain the needed skills of a hunter, as his mother demanded he become one; so, away from her view he went to the village training grounds where the tribes warriors trained with weaponry. Hendrix hated the idea of being a hunter and wanted so badly to be a warrior. Little did he know his mother had reason for trying to keep him away from that path of life though. His true father; Ackamere, who was the warlord leader of an enemy tribe known as the Layrrek, and was a Layrrek god of war, destruction, death, curses and the end of time was never in the boy's life. His mother knew that her son had the blood of this god, making him much stronger but more susceptible to power greed, she didn't want him to become power hungry with the knowledge of his blood relation to the god. With this she kept it secret, not even her husband who was the false father of Hendrix knew that the boy's true father was a god, and an enemy to the tribe. Now, when Hendrix started visiting this training ground, he discovered his unusual strength, only being eight years old. With excitement that he was finding where his skill lay, he showed his parents.. this was a disaster. His mother grew fearful seeing that he discovered the power he had that she so badly wanted to keep hidden. With that, she banned him from ever returning to the training grounds again, he was never allowed to lay a finger on a weapon other than a spear or bow again. This devastated Hendrix, not understanding why he was taken away from what he was best at.

Eventually the boy became fed up with being held away from his talent and wanted to try and prove himself to his parents in hopes that they would accept his true skill as a warrior. At nightfall once the village lay silent and asleep, the boy slipped out and returned to those grounds, taking a war axe a spear and a lit torch. He slinked from the village and into the frozen mountain wilderness alone with the burning desire to prove his skill, caring none for the dangers that prowled the outskirts of the tribe's territory. After hours of trudging through the wilderness, a terrible snowstorm sets in and Hendrix loses his way, becoming more lost in the blistering dark than he thought. He knew from the beginning that this was something he should not have done.. in the end his parents warned him and the other children of the dangers; Bears, wolves, and worst of all; the Great Demon- Alizeel- which was a tale meant to deter children from wandering too far from the village. But he swallowed that fear, he didnt want to admit to believing in some old tribe tale, never. To be a warrior he had to be fearless, so he thought. After hours of wandering in the dark with a dimming torch and no sense of direction, he comes to a pine forest and goes in, hoping to find shelter until the storm passed; he would surely die if out in the storm for much longer. During his desperate search, through the howling wind of the storm he hears cracks and clattering in the tree branches nearby. The sounds are abrupt but he cannot see the cause, raising fear into his chest. Perhaps just heavy snow breaking the branches, or an animal.. he hoped. The memories of the horrid tales told by his parents would be all he could think of.. the creatures in those tales stalked their victims by jumping through the tree branches of pine forests..

With growing fear, the boy begins to search for stray branches in hopes of making a small shelter, but during his search, in the flame light of his torch, a strange shaped shadow appears, the source of the shadow having must been up in the tree branches some ways behind him. The boy hears a strange chittering sound from the darkness behind him, making the howls of the wind seem like nothing. This was not a bear, or a wolf.. there was no way. Hendrix finally realizes that the tales of his tribe were not lies and stories, that somewhere in the dark, a Beast was watching.. little did he know this was not just any; it was Alizeel himself. With no knowledge on how to defend himself, Hendrix turns and cries out in fear, running further into the forest, holding his fading torch out in attempts to see through the blasting snow. Alizeel lunges down from the branches, beginning a chase on the terrified young boy. The beast however seems to let the boy run for a long while, almost as if wanting to tire him out. Hendrix comes to an exhausted but shocked halt at the edge of a cliff where the forest came to an end; he realizes hes trapped himself with the creature. He tiredly readies the war axe in hand, waving the torch at the creature to keep it back, as these beasts he was told hate fire. It's effectivity is short lasted as the torch is too dim, so Hendrix sticks it into the snow to keep a faint light while he defended himself. Alizeel makes a few attempts to grab him however Hendrix slashes the axe back, weakly deflecting the lashes. But, he becomes too tired and the beast takes advantage of this, lunging forward and grabbing the boy and throwing him onto the ground in attempts to stun him. Weak and dazed, Hendrix gathers what strength he has left, half blocking slashing claws with the axe, but the talons of the beasts other hand meets with the side of his face, gouging long deep wounds into his skin. The now helpless boy is clawed countless times after, where he believes he will not survive.

But before he fully accepts his fate to this creature, it seems to be met with something now attacking it, little does he know; it is Ackamere, his true father he never knew about. Ackamere fights off Alizeel in a violent skirmish, ending with the beast fleeing back into the darkness. Ackamere takes the injured boy out of the forest, leading him a long painful trip back to Voolkin territory where search parties were now looking for Hendrix. Upon seeing the boy with one of the search parties, his mother immediately takes him to her safety, but is wary at Ackamere's presence, her as well as the search party believing he took the boy. After explaining that the boy was attacked by Alizeel himself and that he saved the child rather than taking him, he tells Hendrix's mother and false father that they need to learn to control the boy, that he would not save him a second time. Ackamere leaves after this and Hendrix's wounds get treated. Little does he know that his true father's presence near the Voolkin village had caused some "Political" issues as the Voolkin and Layrrek were at the time experiencing a sort of cold war for some time, so this stirred things up a bit. After the incident, his false father came to the conclusion that he would allow Hendrix to train as a warrior, as he did not want the boy trying to "Prove his worth" again. His mother was furious but gave in.

8 years later, Hendrix is 16 and has proven to be one of the tribe's most skilled warriors. But, during this time a war had finally broken out between the Voolkin and the Layrrek. Gehsta' Pel is heavily ambushed and Hendrix is forced to the front lines of the battle, in which he slaughters many ruthlessly. After most of the Layrrek wave was killed, Hendrix returns to the village to make sure his mother is safe. She runs out to him, in tears that he is still alive, but suddenly collapses as a flaming arrow is show through her chest before she gets to her son. Along the high ridge around the village, Ackamere had shot her. Hendrix cradles his mother's dying body, realizing he cant save her from the arrow wound. She tells him the one thing she hid his whole life, that the man who shot her was his true father. She told him all she wanted was to save him from falling down the god's path; power and greed. She died a short while after as her son had to process what was told to him. He had been lied too his whole life, kept a secret.. all for that? Unfortunately Hendrix's false father too had heard her dying words, and this angered him, that the boy he thought was his true son was a half god child of their worst enemy... Malik turns on Hendrix in attempts to kill him, but, he is bested by Hendrix, having an axe blade lodged deep into the crook of his neck after a long bloody fight. Hendrix feels his sense of humanity drain, a cold new mindset set in as he looks to Ackamere who watched the skirmish from a distance. Filled with a bitter new resentment he approaches his true father and demands a fight, he wants to kill Ackamere for shooting his mother and turning the man who raised him against him by killing Marea, and lastly.. he would win this war.. nothing would take victory from him. Hendrix saw this as the ultimate challenge, a challenge he believed he would win. Ackamere accepts this challenge duel without hesitation and the violent fight begins. Hendrix gets a strange urge and tears Ackamere's mask off, wanting to "See the fear in his eyes before killing him" but did not know that this was a grave mistake.. To take Ackamere's mask off would result in the attacker being immediately cursed. Hendrix did not know this, and taking the mask off angered the god, making him use much more strength on Hendrix, cutting down his son with a violent but nonlethal hit, shattering his arm that held the axe. Hendrix attempted to keep up the fight, not wanting to lose to Ackamere but slowly realizes that.. no matter what he did.. he would not win this. Surrendering to his father, he angrily and reluctantly accepted loss and knew he did not have the warriors to keep fighting the Layrrek. His tribe was forced further down the mountain, allowing the Layrrek to take what was once their Village for generations. This battle became known to Voolkin history as "The Battle of The Great Northern Mountain". Now, after this, Hendrix became the leader of the Voolkin, and became a ruthless brutal man at that, killing his own tribe members who lied, betrayed or didnt believe in his leadership. He fought many other minor wars with the Layrrek and other small civilizations further down the mountain, killing hundreds.

Now, at Hendrix's eventual death, due to his curse, he becomes a Voolkin wendigo, this being a curse thats passed down through countless centuries of generations, leading all the way down to his descendant Alem. Alem's father was named after Hendrix the 1st as it was foretold that the vile spirit of Hendrix the 1st would return by reincarnating into the body of Alem's father at birth. The prophecy was true and the reincarnation occurred, leading to Alem's father being named Hendrix the 2nd. He proved to be as vile as the 1st; cold, heartless and as brutal as the soul of Hendrix the 1st was over 4000 years ago.
