Okay, long story short: wouldn't finish portal because she refused to throw her companion cube in the fire. Like, literally refused and fought me off when I tried to take the controller from her and do it myself. So I promised to crochet her a companion cube as long as she would promise to finish the game.And thus, after several hours and copious amounts of sweat and tears, I made a companion cube out of yarn. Yeah, I'm that crazy. I will never ever do this again as long as I live, but I'll probably upload the pattern at some point.

Heh, so I tried to remember the pattern off the top of my head and it turns out I'll probably have to actually do some crocheting to figure out exactly what I did, but when I do write the pattern I promise you will get a copy
