Much appreciation for all the comments and faves 
I did this for an all girls thunderdome competition at conceptart.org. The challenge was to visually interpret a song, and I chose 'The Noose' by A Perfect Circle =O I suppose I'll give the lyrics I based it on for your benifit...

hi graysapphire, just wanted to say that this drawing here.. i don't know why i like it so much but it's like i can't get enough of it. i love it. specially the face of The Noosed that reminds me of androgynous blissful-looking hindi deities and also the distinct expressions of the angel-demons makes that gives it a sort of old christian painting vibe, you know the ones with people around jesus or something like that

I totally came across this by accident! APC is my favorite band (as is most everything Maynard touches), and The Noose is one of my favorite songs. The imagery and cold feeling it gives me sends shivers up my spine every time I hear it. They're feelings that I can never quite describe, and I guess that's why I like it so much.
I really like how the picture has her sitting up high, but hanging from the demons below. The flipped image concept is fantastic. It does the song justice. I am very happy this got a DD, but I feel like it still hasn't gotten all the credit it deserves. There is so much subtle detail that fits well. Thank you for putting a picture to the song.

wow. that's fucking awesome. i adooore a perfect circle's the noose. incredible song and this is a great interpretation of it. not actually what i've thought of when listening to it, but it makes perfect sense and it's wonderfully done. srsly impressive.
lol now i'm kind of inspired and want to go and do my own interpretation of some songs. kind of wish my artwork was good enough to inspired other art.
