This is a John Vanderpoel head study I did from the book "The Human Figure". This was a turning point for me when a couple of weeks ago I decided to move forward with my art, in the face of slowly losing the things that I love and feeling like I was losing myself in the process. This was one of the first sketches I did to prove to myself I could move forward with my art, that I was stronger than they thought, that the problems I was having were just brick walls to show the world how much I wanted something.
