I spent way too much time on this... and it doesn't quite look how I want it to. But still, I love drawing them BECAUSE COLORS, BITC---!! er.... MARES!!! It's a bit tough because there's SO much fanart of the ponies out there, not to mention really GOOD fanart out there so... I feel mine isn't up to par, but the colors were successful, methinks.I'll be selling this as a print and as bookmarks at Otakuthon in two weekends from now. Hope to see you there!!

I love you. Seriously...not in a stalker way or anything...I just love the way you draw and the colors you use and how freakin' amazing you are as an artist. I would bow to you but I'm pretty sure I threw my back out rocking my kiddo to sleep...so instead...I will tip my very nearly empty and about to be refilled wine glass to you!!! Hey, any time. You've always been one of my all time favorite artists on this site and there isn't a thing you've done that I haven't just adored.
As far as appreciating your own work, maybe you just need a change of pace? I know that's what I always have to do when I'm starting to question whether or not I'm growing as an artist - take on a challenge that isn't something I would normally entertain for the sake of finding myself as an artist again.
Maybe a few Duck Dynasty cartoons?? Lol, sorry. Off the wall suggestion. New season started and I adore it so that's where that came from.
But really, never doubt yourself as an artist Liz. You're amazing and the dedication you have to your craft just makes you even more so
