Description This is the Goblin character from my college senior thesis, where I took Jack and the Beanstalk, went back to the most original source I could find, gave it an adrenaline makeover and redesigned it as if it were a God of War/Castlevania styled game. Up top is the final character, beneath is a quick partial turnaround.

I know some of you are likely to inform me that goblins are green and whatnot, trust me I am aware of the conventions <3

Goblins being green was a trope that started in only the 1970s and 1980s I think a lot of more fairytaleish, as opposed to pop fantasy goblins, were not at all green before then.

Stitch on roids!

I absolutely love the design of this creature, otherwise. Any info on his environment?

There's a beanstalk thing somewheres in my gallery I think, which is basically where they exist. It was a thesis piece, so, there's always parts of the original plan that get dropped in favor of others. I never got around to doing a full eye level environment for the beanstalk due to prioritizing a couple more creature designs.

He actually started out life as a leaf nosed bat/goblin cross Iterations down the road and some Del Toro movies later he lost his hair and gained the wide flat teeth

I have to say that I really like this design.
I could really picture seeing something like this in a monster book.
