Er? Yeah, I don't know either, but apparently my brain decided that drawing Reno and Rude as girls would be a Good Idea.

I gave fem!Rude slicked-back semi-emo hair instead of a shaved head or a buzz cut because it fits more in line with my idea of Rude as a character. I see him as being very comfortable with his masculinity, so it only stands to reason that as a woman, she'd be comfortable in her femininity. He's not a guy who needs to keep up appearances to make you THINK he means business, because you just know it. And in the FFVII universe, where things seem to be fairly gender-stratified in terms of appearance (girls look like girls, guys look like guys, or at least as much as Square Enix guys can), a woman going around with a shaved head would probably ask for more attention than I think Rude would want to get. Hence, hair. (Also, she would totally do the nonchalant hot-girl thing where she pushes her hair out of her eyes in a fight, right before she kicks your ass.)

As for fem!Reno? Well, Reno's a very showy guy, and I totally had to give her a boobie shirt to reflect that. XD (Yes, that is a Shinra tattoo on her boob.) Otherwise, she's really the same as regular Reno, except, you know, a girl.

Danielle, we need to cosplay this! I'll even get you wicked high platform boots so you can be taller than me! Be my fem!Rude! XD
