Beautiful model as always! Now the real question is did it have feathers, and if it fought T. rex, who'd win? π

Feathers are a big maybe for Carnosaurs. Its certainly more likely then feathers on abelisaurs but there isn't a lot to suggest that trait crept into that family or not. I tend to restore my Carnosaurs scaly but I wouldn't be surprised if it was feathered.
As for the death battle question, I mean who knows? haha T.rex certainly out massed acro even if they are similar lengths. But they would have never met Im not too interested in the hypothetical.

Hmmm very compelling case. Oh and by any chance, do you happen to know the name of the particular Sauripod Acro has been discovered to face off with? The name escapes me

I swear to God, if you don't add Acrocanthosaurus to the game Saurian, I'll be VERY disappointed. But I'd still play it.

Since the setting of Saurian is the Hell Creek Formation Β at the end of the Cretaceous, and Acrocanthosaurus was not present during that time period, it's very unlikely to be in the game.Β

Very nice! However, I do not understand why people outline the pelvis? Wouldn't it be covered by fat, because no lizard/reptile/bird, anything outlines the pelvis like this?

Lizards have very different hip structure compared to dinosaurs. The hips of lizards look almost mammalian by comparison:

Because the pelvis itself juts out quite a bit, plus there wouldn't be that much fat on them, plus no lizard/reptile have their legs directly under their body, which shifts their body style. For birds they actually do stick out, but it is just covered by feathers.
But yeah, nice work on the Acrocanthosaurus. (Now if only I had $650 for Zbrush.)

Well as wonderful as Zbrush is there is a free alternative to anything. I was fortunate enough to be gifted a copy of Zbrush, but I sculpted digitally long before I actually had it. Its always good to get the feel of something and be sure you are into it before you throw a bunch of money at it right?
I'd suggest you try out sculptris, if you haven't already, which is a great little free program by the same guys who made Zbrush. As well Blender has started to come out with some interesting sculpting tools that I've seen some nice stuff done with. So check either of those out if your interested in digital sculpting for sure. Your not going to get quite the same robust tool-set that Zbrush or Mudbox has to offer, but then again that's why they cost the big bucks.

True, I'll check it out. Cause I think I've heard about Sculptris before.
